Southwest Airlines operate more flights at McCarran than at any other airport. In addition, Southwest is the airline that carries the largest number of passengers in McCarran, both on departure and arrival flights. Southwest currently operates in 21 gates, mainly in Terminal C.
McCarran Airport is unusual as it has more than 1,300 slots along its terminals, a feature it shares with Reno-Tahoe International Airport.
