The airline TUI fly was created in 2007 by the merger of the airlines Hapagfly and Hapag-Lloyd Express. It is a wholly owned subsidiary of the TUI Group and is headquartered at Hannover Airport. Above all, TUI fly offers cheap flights to popular holiday destinations. Its destinations include the Canary Islands, the Balearic Islands, Cape Verde, Egypt, Madeira, Turkey and numerous Mediterranean destinations. In addition, the company is taking over Air Berlin flights with its own aircraft and its own crew. The air routes within Germany, previously known as TUI fly City, as well as destinations in Austria and Italy, the airline gave the end of 2009 to Air Berlin. The current timetable therefore includes around 25 destinations in eight countries. These are usually direct flights, only flights to Cape Verde usually take a stop in Las Palmas on Gran Canaria. On the routes of TUI fly vacationers are therefore quickly at the destination.
