Friendliness, hospitality and competence are the principles of the company. Singapore Changi Airport, the airline's hub, serves destinations around the world. The focus of the offer is on the South Asian region. So cities like Shanghai, Mumbai, Bangkok and Dubai are important destinations. 👜 Baggage regulations at Singapore Airlines
The renowned and award-winning airline is generous with the regulations for the free luggage. While many other airlines allow passengers in economy class to carry 23 kilograms of luggage, Singapore lays it at seven kilograms and offers to check in standardized pieces of luggage weighing up to 30 kilograms. Similar dimensions can be seen when looking at other booking classes. Premium Economy Class passengers can load up to 35 kilograms of luggage at no extra charge, with Business Class passengers allowed to take 40 kilograms. In First Class, every traveler is allowed to check in 50 kilograms. The free baggage allowances are based on either the weight or the piece concept, whereby care should be taken that a single piece of luggage weighs no more than 32 kilograms. In addition, travelers should check in advance whether the weight or piece concept is relevant in the respective destination. As for hand luggage, Singapore differentiates between Economy, Premium Economy Class and upper classes. For example, passengers in Premium and Standard Economy Class are allowed to carry a hand luggage of up to seven kilograms. Anyone flying in Business or First Class benefits from the option of carrying up to two bags of seven kilograms.
