Icelandair is the largest airline in the island state of Iceland. Due to its special location in the middle of the Atlantic, the flight plan includes numerous connections to Europe and above all destinations in the USA - the distance to the USA from any other northern European country is as short as from Iceland. Icelandair serves only airports abroad from its base in Reykjavik. Currently, Icelanders fly to 27 European cities and 12 destinations in North America.
👜 Baggage regulations at Icelandair
Icelandair allows Economy Class passengers a carry-on bag weighing a maximum of 10 kg and not exceeding 55 x 40 x 20 cm. In the Saga Class two bags with the same limits are free. Checked baggage is free on flights within Europe if the bag weighs no more than 23 kg and has a maximum dimension of 158 (L + W + H) cm. Economy Class passengers are allowed to check in, and Saga Class guests have two checked baggage items. On flights to and from Canada and the US, Icelandair also allows Economy customers to place two suitcases with the specified limits. In Saga Class the same rules apply as on European flights.
