👜 Baggage regulations at Corendon Airlines
In general, Corendon Airlines passengers are allowed to carry up to 20 kg of luggage free of charge for the hold. In addition, additional luggage can be booked for a fee. However, a suitcase must never be heavier than 32 kg. To avoid this, the passenger can distribute the weight on two suitcases. It is noteworthy that at Corendon Airlines the luggage regulations for babies differ from those for older children and adults. No free baggage is provided for babies. However, there are two exceptions: If a German or Austrian airport is part of the route, the free baggage allowance for babies is 10 kg.
In the hold, a child seat or buggy can always be carried per child. Children over the age of two are treated as adults for luggage at Corendon Airlines. They are subject to the general Corendon Airlines baggage regulations. Whether child or adult: As with other airlines such as Lufthansa, Corendon Airlines also has a maximum luggage compartment of 158 cm for suitcases (sum of height, width and length). Travelers of all ages can easily book and place special baggage. There are separate fees depending on the size and weight of the delivered baggage.
Similar to other airlines, Corendon Airlines should not exceed hand luggage dimensions of 55 cm x 35 cm x 25 cm. Otherwise, there is no guarantee that the luggage will fit in the luggage compartment above the seat or under the front seat. Larger pieces of luggage must be stowed in the hold. The same applies to baggage containing banned items. It can be explosive or easily flammable. Even sharp objects are prohibited.
To allow the passenger to freshen up on board, he is allowed to carry a transparent, resealable bag with cosmetic items such as toothpaste, cream and perfume. No container may hold more than 100 ml or 100 g. Overall, the contents of the bag must not be heavier than 1 kg. But not only for the cosmetic bag there are maximum dimensions, but also for the hand luggage. For example, Corendon Airlines has a maximum weight of 8 kg for carry-on luggage. For babies the hand luggage regulation does not apply. Parents may therefore carry a bag with diapers and baby food that matches the size of the hand luggage. The flight attendants are happy to provide hot water for powdered baby food for free. Up to 10 bottles of finished baby food may be taken into the cabin. Each container must not exceed the maximum size of 100 ml.
